
Antoinette Godin, a debut novelist and an enrolled member of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe, skillfully merges her rich heritage and legal knowledge in her first book, Native Brush Strokes. A graduate of UCLA with a Law degree, she has dedicated over thirty years to practicing tribal law. Her writing, inspired by the Native American experience during the Age of Aquarius, delves into themes of love, trauma, and resilience. She also received Honorable Mention at the Table of Honor for the 2025 New York Book Festival. Recognized in Who’s Who in America and Women of Influence (2021), Antoinette Godin currently resides in Washington State. Her dedication to social justice goes beyond her literary work, as she actively supports organizations such as the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Environmental Defense Fund.
